Mat Wilson Gets Jail Sentence

Mat Wilson, alias Walitah, 33, of 2811 Dixie Highway Hamilton, was sentenced to 180 days in Hamilton County Jail by Judge R.N. Noving in Cincinnati United States court. He was convicted of possessing moonshine mash and manufacturing whisky. He was granted a stay on Thursday to allow him to relocate his ailing wife to another residence for care.

Payday Monday in Butler County Offices

Salaries of deputies and clerks in Butler county offices were paid Monday for the first time this year. The payment covered the appointees since last November 2 when appropriations for some funds ran out.
