Camden Court Hears Damages Suit Over Radio
Court records show Orville Weed sued Camden schools superintendent C. L. Stingley for 1.20 over damage to a radio in the sercal building before the general election. A six juror verdict favored Stingley after long testimony and mounting court costs. The case used over 60 in fees and expenses, with attorneys Branthaugh and Despond representing the parties.

Employment Office Reports Jobs Through Interview Output
The Department of Dicillateral Relations of Ohio with the U S Employment Service announces that 769 males were interviewed in Hamilton during the past month, 45 becoming applicants. Of 17 females, 14 were new applicants and 10 placed. Help wanted numbers totaled 45 for males and 10 for females, with 10 references and 10 placed.

CIND ATHLETIC CLUB MEET DISCUSSES SPEAKERS AND GAME
The second regular meeting of the Tindenwald Athletic Club was held at Marl Smith’s home on Bhue avenue. Carl Tipton presided as president and a plan to secure monthly speakers for boys was approved. A committee of Earl Smith Elmer Norris and Nuss White will secure future speakers. An entertainment committee Frank Tengers Elmer Norris and Robert Riedel was formed to report on a card party or dance next meeting. Members to help make a scrapbook and collect clippings of standout sports. Huss White to handle all club advertising. Basketball term to play Kappa Sigma Pi at the armory next Tuesday at 7 pm. Kappa Sigma Pi from College Will is highly regarded. expect a close game. Adjournment followed by refreshments and a brief social session. Charles Anderson: Ohio officer and lieutenant governor
Charles Anderson, brother of Major Anderson of Fort Sumter fame, was born near Louisville in 184. A Miami University graduate, he studied law and moved to Dayton. He served in the state senate, opposed the black laws, lived in Ohio and Texas, spoke for the Union in 1860, led the 93rd Ohio Volunteer Infantry, was wounded at Stone River, and became lieutenant governor in 1863 after Governor Brough died. His term was short.
