Arnold Again in the Lock Up at Oxford

Arnold, an engineer at the Oxford Bobcat, fined by Mayor Hughes 100 and costs for liquor possession after a night in jail. A charge of assault against him was withdrawn on condition he leave town and stop harassing his wife. A subsequent affidavit led to another arrest, with Deputy Marshal Wadleigh handling the warrant and an officer seizing many empty liquor bottles in a village business.

Fire damages Germantown city hall estimated at 10000 dollars
