Oxford village imposed a coasting hour on Main Street from Welout Street south to Spring Street to protect children from traffic after a heavy snowfall. Mayor Thomas ordered barricades at Collies Street and police stationed at Spring Street. hours are 4 to 10 p m with other streets banned. Snowplows kept sidewalks passable and residents anticipate safer play for youths on the hill.

Montgomery county moves forward with a $125000 project to repave Germantown pike from Dayton line southwest 4.1 miles. He worked many years at the Crystal Fissure Willy in Amanda and was known in all departments of the company.
