A large crowd of businessmen will gather at 7:45 PM Wednesday at the Chamber of Commerce to discuss proposed amendments to the Ohio constitution. The meeting aims to explain the amendments’ purposes and implications so citizens may vote informed.
A poorly dressed man crawled into the Detroit and Cleveland Navigation ticket office and stole nearly $1,000 in currency during broad daylight. He dispatched 10 dollars back to the company within an hour, a daring, widely noted crime in the city’s history.

This year’s return was not equal to last year’s as determined by the board. Great raging at the Montgomery County Fair is noted with plans for September 2 and 3. Labor Day events, third rank conferment, and a dinner are outlined for the Montgomery group. The Ode Fellows club setup and banquet are mentioned along with a speed program and talks by members. Postponed monthly meeting for the Chil dren's home managers is reported.
