Oxford Ohio council with full attendance except Sulvely approved limited bills for prohibition officers and granted plans to add canopies at theatres. A bond issue of 58000 for two standpipes and water works electrification will be voted in November. Also moves to relocate houses on East Spring and Collins street were approved.

Charles Hill Passes Away in Cincinnati Hospital
Charles Hill 58 of between Oxford and Morning Sun died of stomach cancer in Seton Hospital Cincinnati yesterday after eight months as a patient. He is survived by his mother Mrs Mary Hill and siblings Ada Rich Lulu Hit Walter Hill Edith Oberholtzer. Funeral at the family home Friday morning with interment College Corner cemetery. Edward Brown of Amanda was arrested in Oxford after a raid by Detective Agency members and Officer Finley for selling whisky. He pleaded not guilty before Mayor Hughes, bond set at 1000, and ante held as security until today’s 3 PM hearing.

Miami girls dormitory work begins on campus
Day evening Mrs Shidler entertained guests with five hundred. Work on the new temporary dormitory for girls at Miami began yesterday. Officials aim to have the building ready a few months after school opens. The manual training machine shop in the basement is enlarged and the large first floor workshop becomes plaza rooms. An extra library floor is being added starting today.
