Oxford August 16 A D Van Ausdal of the Cina of Wespisermat Van Ansdil has signed no contract with Miami University to act as superintendent of construction. He previously oversaw East Hall the new temporary girls dormitory when it was full. The University plans several years of changes and new buildings, leaving his future role with the firm or full-time at Miami unsettled.

At the Carthage Fair last week nine boys tied to Elmer Hinkle received prizes for his herd. Hinkle owned the Canee Herd and earned six first prizes and three seconds plus the sweepstake ribbon for Grand Champion Herd. He will show stock this week at New Castle Indiana, aiming for a repeat record.

Contract Awarded for Hauling Oxford Milford Children

The contract to haul Tuck son and Specill School District children to Oxford schools is awarded to Edward Lester. He may charge $4.50 per day and must provide his own team while the township provides the wagon. This special district combines parts of Oxford and Milford townships.
