Beckett Families Reunion and Social Gatherings

Sperkel on Aug 1 at the Zeigler home reports the McClonighe Lipworth League held a pleasant regular meeting with 36 members and guests. A social to raise funds for a new church project was planned with Beckett members headed by Freda Perti Mary Wagonight and Jay Seabold arranging. Also noted was a Bunco party hosted by Nell Marguerite and Oveeda Berkel in honor of Oral Somers with prizes won by Carwin Brasiye and Lhner Sipp. The seventh Beckett reunion was held near MuGonigle Station with ninety five attendees enjoying dinner and an afternoon ceremony. Officers were named and a plan to print 200 copies of a family tree was adopted. The next reunion to be hosted by Dan Bryant at Oxford was announced.
