Cincinnati November 19 a receiver was appointed by the superior court for the William S Merrell Chemical Co the company is solvent with liabilities of 300000 and assets 500000 the action aims to protect both the firm and its creditors
Fire began in the Leuthner building in Peoria and spread to two adjoining structures housing six firms. The blaze caused an estimated loss of 300000.
