At Bradner Wood county an explosion killed W. Sisco and John Washburn and injured Harry Boston. The plant was demolished and nearby houses shattered. The blast was felt sixty miles.
Georgetown Kentucky November 13 Caleb Powers appeared at the Goebel murder trial with a worried look after a long evening vetting legal documents. The defense filed three depositions supporting Taylor's governorship claims and validating Powers pardon.
In Canton Ohio on November 13 a passenger elevator at the McKinley Hotel dropped four stories causing likely fatal injuries to three people. J D Devereaux of Buffalo a salesman suffered multiple fractures spine injuries and internal damage. Roy Wonderly the elevator operator sustained a crushed head and internal injuries. Joan Murphy a bellboy suffered head and back injuries and internal injuries.

August Julius Miller born in Germany July 28 1841 died at home after general debility aged 66 years 3 months 15 days at 6 30 Wednesday. Survived by widow and five children Eva Julius Orval Hampton and William Emil Miller of Denver. Funeral private Saturday 2 pm at home interment Greenwood. A respected citizen mourned by many friends.

In Evansville Indiana two Black women, Fisa Newman and Mary Killebrew, quarrelled on the street. Newman bowed and spoke before Killebrew drew a pistol and shot her forehead. The bullet glanced upward, and if her head had been inclined death would have come instantly. Jealousy is blamed.
