Australian midget car driver Ray Revell Sersagh raced at Guyra last Monday toward the state championship. Revell won while being towed on a trailer behind a Ford sedan. He was accompanied by racer R. Pierce. In Brigbane Revolt, Soliden Helmet Peat World Championship was noted.
A large fire destroyed the produce shed and timber yard at R Pearson & Sons in Guyra after a 11.30 p.m. alarm sparked by Miss Pearson. Neighbors and police battled flames to avert broader damage to nearby homes. The same issue covers a Progressive candidate meeting led by Mr. Lewis with support from Lieut. Col. White, plus social events and club notices in Guyra including weddings and memorial institute activities.

Last Monday Edwin Bailey of Newcastle lost control of his motorcycle and suffered a fractured leg. He received medical attention from a local doctor and was admitted to Armidale and New England Hospital for treatment.
