Memorial of Two Soldiers Lost in Draft Conflicts
Remembered figures W Franks Stevens and Richard Craycraft, Provost Marshal aides, killed June 10 1853 near Rush county while enrolling men during the Civil War draft. The tragedy shocked Greensburg and local citizens, as both men died from their wounds days apart and the assailants were never found.

William House Hurt in Fall on East Wain Street
