Greene city offices re elected all incumbents. Mayor Arthur B. Weiss led with 203 votes to Myron Enkenberry 31. Kenneth Henline received 2 write ins. In the council race Harold Kock 227 votes Leonard Morey 226 Marvin Nelson 221 Charles Stanton 198 Wilford Griner 171 Daniel Miller 132 Mennenga one write in. Total voters 258 with 20 spoiled ballots.

Former area resident Emma LaVerne Hardman Blenkinsop died October 30 at her Vista California home at age 77. Born near Clarksville September 7 1896 she married John Blenkinsop October 21 1939. Clarksville defeated Greene Rams 14 to 0 in the season finale. Tim Wedeking returned a Greene interception for 19 yards to set up a late second quarter score.
