Coldwater Community Club honors 50th anniversary
The Coldwater Community Club met at Mrs. Dean Davis's home with 26 members. Assisting hosts were Mrs. Donald Allan and Irene Starkweather. A program led by Mrs. Clair Starkweather and Mrs. Lewis Downing featured banco and a "This is Your Life" tribute for Mrs. Art Pagles, who will celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary on April 10. A gift was presented to Mrs. Pagles. Banco prize winners were Mrs. Wilbur Landers, Mrs. Art Herman, and Mrs. Joe Downing.

Senior Girl Scout Conference Held in Waterloo
The Senior Girl Scout Conference for northeast Iowa took place March 23 24 at Waterloo in Grace Methodist Church to mark the fifty year anniversary of Girl Scouting.
