Creature Causes Panic At Greene Scout Campout
Pack 26 of Greene camped at Marble Rock Scout grounds for the Winter Camper badge. A frightening incident occurred when a “creature” alarmed the group, causing Troy Menken to stumble and topple a tent. Jay Majewski allegedly suffocated and cut a hole in the tent before fleeing to a car, with the others believing he was eaten. Jay later emerged from under the seat.

Jazz Band I wins first at Nashua Jazz contest
The Greene High School Jazz Band I in new uniforms funded by the Music Parents won first place at the Nashua Jazz Band contest and clinic held last Saturday. North Central took second and St Ansgar third. The band earned a finals berth after a daytime preliminary. Dominic Snera of Wisconsin State University served as solo performer clinician and judge.
