Marble Rock 4-H Demonstrations Set for County Fair
The Scott Hustlerettes held an Achievement meeting July 13 at the Fullerton home with Mary Glee Watson as guest. Demonstrations by Barbara Howell Carolyn Mauppin and Linda Krull Teresa Frasch won junior and intermediate honors and will be shown at the County Fair July 28. A special July 27 meeting at Sandra Ernsts will prepare the 4-H booth. Marble Rock Fire Department answered two calls including a train right of way fire and a car fire near Mike Ewalds.

Returned Home After World War II Reunion Flight
Mr and Mrs Robert Neal returned home Tuesday from their plane trip to Formosa for the Flying Tigers and Chinese National Airways Force World War II reunion. Stops included Hong Kong and Tokyo with refueling in Anchorage Alaska. They stayed overnight with Mark and Mary Nixt in Lakewood California.

4 H Achievement Show Held By Union Busy Bees 4-H Club
The Union Busy Bees 4 H Club hosted its local Achievement Show with 122 exhibits and 61 advancing to county. Demonstrations judged by Mrs. Lester Fredrick and Mrs. Clarence Ziebel include It's Coffee Time and F Perfections. Honey Bunnies by Karen Staudt advances in junior division. Lunch was served by members and leaders.

Baptist Mission Society Meets at Sunlight Baptist
The Bethel Baptist Mission Society gathered Thursday at the Sunlight Baptist Mission on the Hopi Indian Reservation in northern Arizona. Devotions were led by Mrs. Harold Ott and a lesson on when a stranger is a friend was presented by Mrs. Gerald Adams. The group moved to collect a missionary offering and reported White Cross quota funds.
