Martha Borchard rites held for 88 in Greene
Martha Matilda Zitzow Borchard aged 88 died January 9 at Chanteneua Guest Home in Charles City. Born December 13 1884 in Otter Tail County Minnesota she married Richard H Borchard in Rockford April 6 1909. Surviving daughters and sons include four daughters three sons sixteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. Funeral services were January 12 at St Peters Lutheran Greene with burial Riverside Cemetery Rockford. Reverend Paul Metzger officiated Reid's Funeral Chapel in charge.

Clinton Lockwood born August 22 1883 on the Lockwood Homestead near Dougherty Westfork Township Franklin County. He married Jessie Kahuda November 11 1908 and farmed with his family before retiring to Greene. He died January 11 1973 at age 89. Survived by wife Jessie daughters Leone Lockwood and Margaret Booth sister Winifred Hass. Services conducted January 15 at Reid's Funeral Chapel by Rev Howard Dukelow.
