Weaver farm unveils modern feed facility and open house
The Weaver operation adds a new adjacent confinement building with a 51 by 151 foot pit and interlocking concrete walls to vent with temperature. A Wick pole shelter and a Handi Klasp Co. gate divide pens while automation moves feed from storage to banks. Existing silos now store corn silage and a Harvestore system processes alfalfa. Skyline Harvestore Systems Inc designed a 16 inch belt feeder to deliver feed to either lot during a public open house from 9am to 4pm.
