Funeral services for Clifford W. Dulin 79 of Greene were held Friday December 6 at Reids Funeral Chapel in Greene with burial in Rockwell Cemetery Rockwell. He was born September 11 1895 in Hillard Ohio and died December 3 at St Josephs Mercy Hospital in Mason City. He married Cora Whitemore May 7 1917 in Mason City and lived in Greene 58 years owning a grocery for 49 years. Survivors include his wife one son Clarence Portland Oregon one daughter Hazel Marie Waits Vancouver Washington three grandchildren four great grandchildren one sister Mo and nieces and nephews.

Westmar College senior Jerry Shultz of Greene earned a Little All-American Honorable Mention as one of 10 Iowa players on the list. He capped a fine career by making Tri-State Conference and District 15 NAIA honors, setting season and career defensive records including seven fumble recoveries and 62 solo tackles. He was MVP of his team this year. he is the son of Mr and Mrs Jack L Shultz of Greene.

GHS Fall Music Concert December 18 at Ingh High Gym
The annual fall concert by Ingh High School music groups is set for Wednesday December 18 at 7 45 p m in the new gym. Miss Gail Hartwig directs the vocal groups while Ray Holtz leads Jazz Band II and Concert Bands. Concert Band pieces include Saly Sombra Music for Winds and Percussion and A Day In The Life of a Fool. The Girls Chorus caroling groups and the full chorus will also perform.
