Indiana report examines Senator James E. Watson dodged several important prohibition votes by not registering his ballot. A modern fertilizer and stock feed plant has been built at Cloverdale by FS Cooper & Company. Located 1.5 miles north near the Monon railroad, it offers strong shipping access. Officers include Louis H. Schopmeyer president, Berg C. Gross vice president, and Dr. F. S. Cooper secretary. Directors are L. H. Shopmeyer, Dr. F. S. Cooper, Fay S. Hamilton, Carl E. Sasley, and Bert C. Gross.
Greencastle and Putnam County residents totaling about 550 attended a Monday afternoon concert in the high school auditorium by the United States Marine Band. The event earned near break-even finances with ticket sales covering expenses and was praised for bringing a world renowned band to a small city.

Orin Jessup, state Prohibition party treasurer, resigns to support the Democratic candidate Cox. In his letter he says voting to help the United States join the League of Nations justifies his action as a patriotic duty, noting Harding’s opposition to the league.
The Burnsides automobile stolen Monday evening by Joy Riders was found in the Grose residence garage on Locust Street in DePauw. Helen Grose reported the car in the garage upon returning home around 10 30. Marshall O Hair was notified and resolved the matter. The writer warns that joy riders face penal farm sentences if caught.
