Franklin D. Roosevelt the Democratic vice presidential candidate will arrive in Greencastle by automobile shortly before noon on Wednesday. He will address county residents at the courthouse after travel from Crawfordsville, with Greencastle Democrats escorting him from Crawfordsville. A luncheon at the Commercial Hotel precedes the talk, then he departs by auto for Brazil by 2 o clock. Military Funeral for John Sanders in Greencastle
Private John Sanders was buried Sunday at Forest Hill cemetery in Greencastle under American Legion auspices. Rev. Levi Marshall led services while Army honors included a three-gun salute. Sanders died of pneumonia in France and was brought home, son of Mrs Thomas Hardwick.
