Mrs Eliza J Stroube aged 81 died this morning at the home of Mayor J R Bartley on South Indiana Street after a weeklong illness from general debility. She was born in Bracken County Kentucky in 1839 and is survived by five children including Frank M Stroube Indianapolis and Mrs E R Bartley Thorntown. Funeral is expected Thursday with burial in Boone Cemetery near Hamrick Station. She was active in the Christian church.
