The Greencastle High School senior class presented The Love Pirate to a good crowd on Wednesday. The show, a locally produced musical, featured libretto by Donald Grimes and Clifford Frazier with music by William Blanchard and lyrics by Blanchard Briggs and Freeland. Directors and designers included Leona Kestner for dances and costumes, Virginia Byers for settings, with Grimes and Frazier performing on stage.

William Glidewell Injured When Auto Goes Over Bank
William Glidewell of the Willis Wright farm south of Fillmore suffered cuts and bruises and an injured shoulder when the car he rode in veered off the road and plunged down a steep bank. His 11 year old son Theodore escaped with only minor bruises. Rev. Victor J. Raphael was in Indianapolis today.

Two diamond rings belonging to Miss Bird Gosley of Anderson Street were stolen early in the week and mysteriously returned this morning. Henry Prevo underwent an appendix operation this afternoon. Guards Shoot Two In Ohio State Prison
At the Ohio State penitentiary two convicts were killed when National Guardsmen accidentally fired a machine gun into sleeping prisoners. Albert Freeman and Frank Ross, both burned in the April 21 prison fire, were among the victims. The shooting occurred while guardsmen were adjusting a belt of bullets under militia control following the Monday night blaze that left 320 dead.

Roachdale Man Sentenced For Chicken Thefts
William Saylor aged 66 of Roachdale was sentenced to six months at the penal farm by Judge James Hughes after pleading guilty to petit larceny for stealing eleven chickens from James A. Frazier. Deputy Alva Bryan and Sheriff Edward Eitelforge arrested him following a Sunday night theft in which Frazier held Saylor at his chicken house and confiscated the birds.
