Revival blossoms as Greenwoood hosts evangelist Daisy Barr
A Union Evangelistic Campaign in Greencastle drew strong turnout with 111 converts and renewed vows. Delegations from Greenwood and Bainbridge joined the event conducted by Daisy Douglas Barr and party at the tabernacle. The Sunday program featured sermons on Kings that Need Killing and Leaving First Love, plus music by Daugherty Hinton Parker and others.

Hog Prices Open High Amid Market Shuffle at Alliance
Hog prices opened 25 to 50 cents higher with lightweights selling up to 16.75 while most bulk sales ranged 16.00 to 16.40. Cattle were slow but steady with calves and sheep steady. local buyers took about 3 000 hogs and the rest left. Funeral services for Mrs Louella G Hays, 56, widow of Dr Franklin W Hays, will be at 2 pm at First Presbyterian Church Indianapolis. Burial at Crown Hill follows. Mrs Hays died in Havana Cuba during a pleasure trip. she leaves a son Thomas Hays of Indianapolis. The Delta Tau orchestra serenaded sorority sisters at a late night social.
