Greencastle seeks a tournament title as Darlington or Ladoga likely oppose them in the final game set for 8 o clock tonight at DePauw Gymnasium after two days of play.
Ladoga defeats Darlington 15 to 13 in a tense afternoon game to earn a spot in tonight’s sectional final. Greencastle leads the district favorites while Roachdale and Waynetown win their Friday night showdowns as Greencastle, Ladoga, and Darlington vie for a finals berth.
Hog receipts total 3 000 with hogs up 25 to 35 cents at opening prices 15.00 to 16.00 per hundredweight and general sales 15.60 to 16.00. Cattle were active and strong calves and sheep steady while pigs held at 14.50. Local trading dominated with DePauw student Claude Curtis visiting Martinsville for sectional tournament and Mrs. Frank Vannon in Indianapolis.
