Greencastle will observe a weekly half holiday this summer with most merchants closing Wednesday afternoons from July 4 through August. Banks, lawyers, and many doctors will adjust hours, and the plan aims to ease heat and provide recreation for employees. A full list of closing stores will be published later with window notices.
