Two Teens Die in Indianapolis Auto Crash
In Indianapolis suburb Clermont an accident killed 15 year old Helen Barnard and left 16 year old Mildred Neidheimer seriously injured while two brothers aged 19 and 21 escaped with minor injuries. Alfred Merz drove the car which struck a rut broke a wheel and crashed into a bridge pinning the girls beneath it near a high school at Ben Davis.

Baby Fatally Scalded After Falling Into Boiling Water
A two year old girl Frances Louise Roby died after falling into a pan of boiling water in Bloomington. The mother had heated water for mopping the floor and left briefly, returning to find the child submerged. She died at Bloomington hospital at 1 15 this morning.
