Negotiations on Railroad Pay Standoff Pause at White House
Washington reports that union railroad employees halted wage talks as properties revert to owners. The sole remaining item is the union reply to President Wilson, to be sent to the White House tomorrow morning. Director General Hines met with W. G. Lee and a Brotherhood committee as the wage talks wrap up.

Hog Receipts Drop As Hog Prices Fall Half A Dollar
Indianapolis hog receipts total 6000 with 2000 carried over from Friday. Hogs sold 14.25 to 15.75 with general sales 15.00 to 15.50 and top 16.60. Pigs at 15.25 down. Cattle active and strong while calves and sheep steady. units include 400 cattle and 300 calves and 500 sheep adjustments. Local buyers took about 6500. 500 exited.
