DePauw defeated Wabash 32 to 16 in the second half aided by Miller and Cannon who sparked the comeback. Early tied scores gave way to a 6 point DePauw lead as the Tigers tightened defense and relied on new lineup adjustments led by Mendenhall and Gipson in a fast, physical battle at Bowman gym.
Gipson Cannon Kastner and Aveteree Young each net four goals while umpire Craigie oversees the action in a high scoring display.

President Wilson today offered a proposal to railroad brotherhoods on wage demands and the men would consider it. Timothy Shea said the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen would not disclose details, and the White House planned a separate statement later.
Paris February 12 General Niessel head of the Bavic Mission reports to the foreign affairs committee that the German army remains about 400 000 strong with 100 000 policing forces and ample tanks machine guns and aircraft. He says Noske is under control of the general staff and the government is capable of enforcing the treaty.
Moon shining is spreading among Lake County farmers as prohibition officers uncover many stills. Officers shot Sam Vanovich at Griffith while he attempted to flee after stills were found. Two stills were found operating at the John Hank Farm near Crown Point.
Washington reports Italy will prohibit imports of sugar canned meats condensed milk butter and cheese to ease the exchange situation. Official advices say American exports to Italy will be reduced to 20.

Mr and Mrs Henry Lash visited home folks Friday. Mrs John Lancet and Mrs Lewis Kortepeter visited Mrs Sarah Rader Sunday. Miss Margaret Keiser of Poland visited here with her cousin Miss Wilhelmina Keiser. Mrs Sarah Rader is no better at this time.
