Trial of "Jack" Ellis Set for February 18

France relief head lectures with 6000 feet of war films
Prof Claude Michelon head of the French relief guard in Indiana drew a large Greencastle crowd for a Sunday opera house showing of 6000 feet of war films. Steeplejack Oscar Nickel Survives Tuscania Sinking
Oscar J. Nickel a steeplejack from Indianapolis formerly employed at the zinc plate plant and painter of the court house flag pole survived the Tuscania sinking after enlisting in the One Hundred and Fifty eighth Aero Squadron on November 6. He lives at 308 East South Street and had long been known for painting tall structures in the city. Nickel, 40, had previously gilded St. John's Church spires and kept spectators awed by rope work high above the streets. His wife expressed relief upon learning he was listed among survivors.
