Cement Plant Worker Injured In 18 Foot Fall
Virgil English of Fillmore was severely hurt at the Indiana Portland Cement Plant Thursday at 3:30 PM. He slipped from a coal elevator, struck a railroad tie, and fell eighteen feet, with a fractured pelvis and injured arm. He was taken to the County Hospital by Rectorl ambulance. He is 36 and had worked at the plant three years.
