An interchurch conference will be held in the Tabernacle with participation from all Protestant churches. A splendid educational program has been arranged for the event, showcasing collaboration and spiritual outreach in the city.
The Tabernacle hosts the Putnam County Interchurch World Movement conference Friday with a full day of educational talks and stereopticon slides on world surveys and movement plans. Delegations from Fillmore Bainbridge Russellville and other areas attend along with thirty denominations. Mrs Barr is to preach at 7 16 pm after the daytime sessions.
DePauw University President George R. Grose attends the Northern Conference of the Methodist Church in Richmond and serves as a conference member. The Mississippi Valley History Association plans its thirteenth session at DePauw on April 29–30 with Prof. William Warr as arrangements chair.
Prof B A Knight supervises an inside French room setup for six student led entertainment sessions next week to raise about forty dollars for new fixtures. Miss Helen Grose returns after illness as the senior class donates to the Marne monument fund with the rest contributing at least one cent.
Elder John Urton age 78 died suddenly at his home near Keelsville on Wednesday. Civil War veteran and longtime minister of the Eel River Baptist Church, he preached his last sermon there four days earlier. Survived by widow, son John Jr of Lena, and daughters Cora and Lizzie Urton at home. Funeral Friday at Reelsville with Rev. Martha Runyon officiating and burial in Reelsville cemetery.

A Richfield Springs game protector reports a handsome eight point buck grazing with cows and sheep in an Otsego County pasture. A camera team captured stills and film as the wild deer and its companions fed openly, suggesting the animal sought companionship when unable to find mates.
The state board of pardons reports findings that reduces the sentence of William P. Dickerson of Roachdale, convicted of assault with intent to kill. Commutations apply to three Putnam County men overall.
The State Board of Pardons reduced sentences for three Putnam County inmates two to five years commits and shortened terms for two escaped State Farm prisoners. Edward Bledsoe and Charles Shepherd saw reductions to one to five years while William P. Dickerson’s two to fourteen years was cut to one to fourteen. Clemency was refused for Arthur Hanneman and Raymond Franey.

Edison Mulroney aged 22 and Charles Gordon aged 23 appeared before Judge James P. Hughes this morning and were sentenced to two to five years in Michigan City reformatory for escaping from the Penal Farm. Mrs. Catherine Price returns home after visiting relatives in Muncle and Marion.
Bureau of animal husbandry researchers report a serum derived from immunized sheep blood protected Lena Delhane and others after six family members died from poisonous olives in New York. Studies identify three olive strain outbreaks in Michigan Ohio and Montana. Serum showed protection against the olive strain but not all bacillus poisons.
Elder William Skelton, 76, died Friday at his home south of Reelsville after days of paralysis. He and fellow minister Elder Urton had served at the Eel River Church. Survived by widow, six sons and one daughter George, David, Clarence, Mrs. John Mace, Lemuel Paul and Isaac. Funeral by Elder C. L. Rirhart of Crawfordsville at 2 p.m. Sunday, burial in Reelsville cemetery.
Mrs. Ferd Lucas of this city was chosen secretary of the Indiana Board of Film Indorsers at the annual convention held yesterday at the Claypool Hotel.
Dessie O'Connor 21 of Gosport wed Virley Greenlee 39 of Cloverdale. A second license shows Dessie O'Connor 31 of Cloverdale marrying Virley Otis Greenlee 59 of Cloverdale.

A Greencastle concert opens the program with the newly formed band under Ben Morgan. Evangelist Patsy Douglas Barr delivers sermons on folly of self and pretense. Mrs Barr speaks to women and families, while a large youth response marks the revival.
