Legal notice announces a December 29 1955 special bond election in Green River Emery County Utah to issue 30000 for waterworks improvements and 10000 for sewer system expansion. Ballot format and voting instructions included.
In Green River Utah a city election set for 7 am to 8 pm will be held in voting district No. 14 at City Hall with Judges Mary Tidwell Una Gillies Elsie Allen. Richard Ekker sustains eye injury from a stick while following a tractor. Families Ekker move to Green River and others visit Salt Lake and Camp Carson with plans for Germany. Harold Eikers sells Blue Valley 2500 acres along the Fremont River near Hank sville.
Five States Uranium Corp. of Albuquerque NM heads toward an ore body on its Dirty Devil No 3 claim on Tomsich Mountain in Emery County Utah. The drift has been largely in ore and was back about 175 feet Tuesday with 25 to 30 feet to go as of now. Development ore has been shipped and more loads sit stockpiled. Secretary Treasurer Webster H Russell announced.
In Rauer Moab a flood of old prosperity may return as Robertshaw proposes irrigation revival.
