Champion birds will be auctioned with half the proceeds going to the seller. Last year a 14% pound hen brought 400 dollars. poults from 11 western hatcheries supported junior birds prior to the event. Oscar Orlepp Sons Hatchery of Oron California exhibited the heaviest tom at 49 pounds with Barlocker Farms Hatchery of St George Utah close behind at 48 pounds 7 ounces.
