Two youths from prominent Eaton families suffered injuries late last week. Gordon Wilson, not yet starting school, had his foot crushed when a horse stepped on it in his father's barn. Four year old Ruth Trenholme broke her collar bone after falling from the rear of a wagon.

Death Angel Is Sudden Visitor
John Truby died Friday afternoon at Greeley hospital after a brief illness of appendicitis. He was on duty at his son in law’s store Tuesday until six, then rushed to Wednesay and later to the hospital. Survived by a widow two daughters and a son, funeral at 10 Monday from the family home conducted by Rev J J Lace, burial in Indiana Pennsylvania beside his three children.

BE H Wolcott, son in law of John and Nellie Mullen, was killed in Lafayette when a tree he climbed to loosen a wire delivered 2300 volts of electricity. The Mullens, longtime Severance ranchers, learned of the tragedy and hurried to Lafayette. Nellie Mullen had become Wolcott’s wife nine years prior. The widow will be brought home by Mrs Mullen on her return.
