A Colorado company plans to irrigate 135000 acres in Phillips county and develop 12000 to 15000 horsepower from spillways. Two reservoirs will be built on the South Platte, Bijou creek, Sand, Pawnee and Kiowa creeks with a main canal extending through 22 townships. The Fort reservoir near Morgan will hold nearly 6 billion cubic feet of water and support a 2000 foot spillway to generate power.
