Pioneer Mrs. Christine Hodgson Dies at 77 in Platteville
Christine Hodgson wife of David Hodgson a Colorado pioneer died at home in Platteville after a three month illness aged 77. She was born September 11 1834 on Prince Edward Island and lived in Arena Wisconsin before marrying in 1856. The Hodgsons moved to Colorado in 1863 and settled on a Platteville homestead known as the Hodgson ranch. Funeral services will be held Friday at the M E church with burial in Platteville cemetery.
