A bright musical comedy titled The Time the Place and the Girl entertained Greeley last Friday. The production delighted with wit catchy songs and pretty ballets, giving the audience constant smiles and laughter without leaving any sour taste or social problems unresolved.

Despondent Wife of Local Man Kills Self After Husband Suicide

Carrie Tollefson, widow of J. W. Tollefson who shot himself two weeks earlier in Ault, killed herself in the same room last Friday. Her death came as relatives from California arrived for the farewell and after the family had bid him goodbye at the door. A eight month old daughter is left in care of relatives. Funeral was held Sunday.

New Manse Completed for First Presbyterian Church

The First Presbyterian Church occupies a modern Colonial manse at Eighth Avenue between Eleventh and Twelfth Streets. Rev. R J Hunter and family reside there in a 43 by 40 foot two story house with oak front door and dining room sideboard. Furnishings are being donated by church societies to complete the home.

J A Alexander was nearly injured last Thursday morning when his express team bolted as he climbed into a wagon. A L Mumper rushed to help, checked the horses, and allowed Alexander to free himself from the wheels as the team dashed down Righth avenue.

Colorado Mortgage Company Enjoins Greeley Railway

The Colorado Mortgage and Investment company obtained an injunction last Wednesday to bar the Greeley and Northern Railway and Utility company from entering land south of the city. Grading for an electric line from Greeley to Evans is nearly finished, with temporary damages to be compensated. W F Stephens acted for the Colorado firm, which aims to protect its interests. grading to Evans will be completed this week and Home Electric will supply current for the short section.
