Edgar Meis died Wednesday at his mother Mrs. Bessie McManus home at 1509 Eighth. Funeral was held Friday at 2 pm. A sister from St. Louis is expected. The family had moved from Illinois recently for the ill young man’s health. Near death the mother learned another son was badly injured in Oklahoma. The widow mother has a daughter with her and two sons away.

Burglars Loot Home Of W H Edwards On Twelfth Street
Thieves entered the residence of W H Edwards at 610 Twelfth Street between 3 and 6 Sunday afternoon. They forced the kitchen door, ransacked rooms, and removed jewelry silverware and small items. Among the losses were a large silver teapot a rain coat and a gold medal given twenty years ago for a Colorado River expedition. Evidence suggests local youths committed the break in.

Rails discontinue four motors affecting Denver to Pierce run
The railroad company has removed motors 125 and 126 between Denver and Pierce. Motor 125 reached Greeley at 8 25 p m and 126 at 5 04 p m. Motors 129 and 126 on the LaSalle stub are also taken off.
