Young Couple Released After Abandonment Charge
Mr and Mrs J E Stone the young couple arrested for abandoning their five week old baby in Pueblo were released Tuesday afternoon and allowed to go back to Pueblo where they left the infant in care of a woman for a stated sum. Investigators say the couple did not intend to abandon the child but have it cared for until they could better provide for it. Neither is of age and the wife is described as pretty. They wept much during detention.
