At the town board meeting Doctor Vail sought permission to build a frame addition to the Henry House on Eighth avenue behind Judge Scott's block. C A Bennett requested leave to add to his house at Tenth street and Tenth avenue. The Judiciary Committee was instructed to draft an ordinance on building permits. George B Wyman explained lumber storage near his planing mill within the fire limits. Annis of Greeley Irrigation asked for papers showing joint ownership in the No 3 supply ditch. the matter was laid over. Thorkel Nelson offered to treat No 3 waste water. some terms were not approved. A committee was tasked to regulate artesian water distribution and waste. Licensing the links debate concluded with a license of 75 per quarter not approved and 50 per quarter or 200 per year carried.
From the Evans Journal McFie opens a new general dry goods building and Hon J M Bailey reports his school district has paid off bonded debt and holds treasury funds. A quiet election of school directors elected W McFie president. Yankee Johnsons old residence and contents burned by county orders. twins from Bailey's two graded milch cows born at the property.

Myle Y. Osborn sold a four year old Norman for 400 dollars. Memorial Day events planned by A. E. K. Burnside Post No. 15 include grave decoration at 10 a.m. and a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the Opera House. In school matters Dr. W. B. Sutherland was elected president of the Board, and the three mill tax passed with little opposition.
