Miss Amelia Plowhead earns esteem in East Evans for school leadership. A.M. Todd plans to farm near La Salle this year and participates in chicken farming with 200 hens incubated eggs. Census deputy Harry Bennett appointed for this county starts June first with a thirty day district assignment. Greeley Cornet Band praised at Denver Odd Fellows reunion for martial music. members expected to wear diamonds.
Mead of Greeley bought the 50th imported Hereford Bull Pyrrhus at the Crane & Price sale in Denver for 440 dollars. The 21 month old 1300 pound animal was sired by Grover 3d and is a half brother to Rudolph, owned by the Wyoming Hereford Association. Mead plans breeding to create range bulls at 60 to 80 dollars at fifteen months. The note also mentions other stock notes, horse and cattle movements, and local theater at the Adelphi in Sun Dance Wyoming and Charlotte Thompson tickets listed.
