Pleasent Valley petition seeks new schoolhouse site
At the Monday school meeting residents in Pleasant Valley asked for a new schoolhouse due to long travel distances. The board was authorized to negotiate for up to an acre adjoining the Pleasant Valley building and to deed a small square for an artesian well. They may purchase up to four acres in Ward One for a future building, and E Heaton offered a northwest High School lot for 250 dollars.
