Horse in a Cellar at Ninth Avenue
A horse owned by J. K. Thompson, the piano man, fell into a deep eight foot excavated cellar beside a corral on Ninth avenue across from the courthouse. The horse rolled twice, escaped injury, and was left in the basement overnight as workers sloped the bank to retrieve it. It was fed this morning and rescued from the pit.
