Owens and Titler Wed in Cheyenne
Last Wednesday evening Mard ith C V Owens and Miss Cora Titler both of Greeley were married in Cheyenne. Titler worked at Spere's confectionery and Owens former Union Pacific engineer now owns a ranch west of Greeley. They traveled to Denver for several days after the ceremony.

New Experiment Station Opens on Western Slope
The state board of the Agricultural College has appropriated 3,500 for a substation on the western slope. Profs. Paddock and Gillette visited Grand Junction to plan spring start. The station will employ an expert horticularist and an entomologist to study planting methods and plant diseases and remedies. The manager will be chosen soon.

Colorado Bell Telephones Cuts Denver Rates In 1906
President E B Field announced a general readjustment of telephone rates in Denver to take effect September 1 1906. The change will reduce rates by about 20 percent, saving Denver customers roughly 200000 annually. A few may see higher fees, but overall the net effect favors users.
