Wheels Stolen Crooks Nabbed in Denver Case
Neill Brandon and William Brooks were sentenced to twelve years in the penitentiary for holding up a Greeley saloon. The couple, living eight miles northwest of Greeley, used a shack to store stolen farm goods and disassembled bicycle wheels to mix parts from different bikes for sale. Pieces traced to Greeley and sheep pelts, calves hides, and other farm thefts were found among their loot. Marshal Camp holds a mixed collection of wheel parts linked to the case.
