Evans reports visitors including Miss Leedom of Greeley and Florence Geer with Eunice, while Mrs. Park travels to Orchard and Mrs. Bovard returns from Sterling. Evans gains water works and electric light after a contract let to Indiana parties, alfalfa hay arrives, and the Demorest silver contest is noted at the R. P. church.

Beebe Draws Family Visitors and Community Events

Mr and Mrs Chris Moser spent Sunday at Kersey with their daughter. Mr and Mrs Gardner of Pleasant Valley visited Mr Thompson's. Miss Annie Oster of Denver is home for a month. Will Rogers of La Salle attended exercises. The ditch has been full of water all spring and crops look fine. Childrens Day was observed with a nice program and the school house was decorated with flowers.

Mr and Mrs Marka drove to the city Monday. Mrs Flower has grip this week. Mrs Wright and daughter drove to Greeley Friday. Farmers are finishing thinning their beets. Mrs Walter Kimzey and boys left for Idaho last Thursday. Mr and Mrs Henry Smith of Nantes attended services here Sunday. Prayer meeting will be held at the home of Mr and Mrs Wigged Wednesday. Elmer Mackey and sister Miss Gertrude attended services at La Salle Sunday evening. Mrs Ernest Prichard is ill and staying with her parents Mr and Mrs Davis. Mrs Roy Hubbard and son of La Salle visited here with sister in law Mrs W R Davis Thursday. Mr Kitchen hauled two stackers from the mountains last week for E J Davis and for Mr Sullivan.

Ault A C McCain plans to open a new drug store in a few days. Town ordinances will take effect Thursday this week. W H Preston’s baby is recovering from illness. Baptist Church Plans Friday Meeting on Building

The Baptist church group will meet Friday evening at Paul Smith's to decide steps for constructing a new church. J. P. Fry traveled to Greeley Sunday for rheumatism treatment after a difficult summer. The Big Five warehouse cellar in Greeley nears completion and may start this week. George Kesner and family moved to Olin King's farm Sunday to oversee affairs during the King's eastern trip. Children’s Day exercises drew a large crowd at the Baptist Sunday school Sunday evening, while Congregational Sunday school held morning services at the church.

LaSalle Notes of Local Residents and Church Festival

Mrs Porter Baird and others in LaSalle are noted for slow improvement and travels. Visitors include Mrs Miller Carter from Denver and Miss Mary Taylor visiting Ault. The community recalls Rev Giffin passing through, Miss Ella Wilson visiting, and gatherings with Mrs Beattie. The First Presbyterian church marks its eleventh anniversary on Monday June 20 with a strawberry festival planned, inviting all.

Denver resident Eaton S. L. Purdy visited Eaton last Saturday. Greeley visitors Miss Callie Lincoln and John Willis stayed with Eaton friends. A parade of local residents traveled to nearby towns and back, with several couples taking trips to Windsor Estes Park and Fort Collins on various errands and leisure. A missionary and Children’s Day programs highlighted church life this week.

Epworth League delegates return from state convention

Miss Gladys Lowry and Mrs Terrel returned Tuesday from Golden where they attended the Epworth League state convention as delegates from Faton. Mrs Terrel was elected secretary of the Greeley district after the meeting. The hostess served sherbet and cake following the bus iness portion.

Della Woods on the sick list as Crow Creek notes a school meeting held last Friday. Mr. Witwer elected. A social at S. L. W. school house next Saturday evening followed by a Sunday school picnic near Mr. Brannan's house next Sunday. A thimble party at Mrs. Dale's Friday afternoon with about thirty attending. A surprise party at the S. L. W. ranch last Saturday afternoon near Caddie Klein. Attendees included Mary Bondeson, May Jackson, Ray Standiford, Ellen Jeanson, Dulcie Standiford, Bertha Jessup.

Helen Bracewell marks her fifth birthday with friends. The electric railway survey now runs through Shearer and Reed toward the sugar factory, timing for completion remains uncertain.

Boulder plans northern Colorado asylum to share costs
