Tragic Drowning Body Found Near Windsor Farm
The body of three year old Harry Yost son of Mr and Mrs John Yost of Wellington Colorado was found in a Larimer county ditch at the Dick Carrol ranch north of Windsor last Friday morning. Coroner Macy investigated after two weeks of search and the missing boy was presumed drowned following discovery of his hat on the ditch bank.

New Reading Room Opens At Methodist Church In Greeley
Last Monday evening a men's reading room was opened in the northeast basement room of the Methodist church. A brief program featured Dr E A Darby E R Bliss and Rex Andrews. The free reading room grew from the Triangle fraternity and Brotherhood of St Paul efforts. Volunteers plan furnishings fund drives and a growing library from donations and periodicals. The Ladies Aid contributed furniture and a pillow shower. The room will be open every evening except Sunday with a supervising youth. The Knights of St Paul formed a junior branch at the M E church. weekly meetings will include devotional exercises and drills with plans for a basement gymnasium in time. These efforts provide a needed space for young men in Greeley.

Excursion to Moffat Road Delights Riders and Fund
The Tribune sponsored a Fountain Fund excursion on the Moffat road last Friday. A total of 176 tickets were sold for all towns, with 116 for Greeley and 113 reaching the Continental Divide. The trip finished at Boulder park and the group returned to Greeley before evening, just in time for the band concert.

Dan Thomas of Greeley Colorado is elected captain of the Tome School football squad at Port Deposit Maryland. He stands five feet ten inches and weighs 175 pounds and has played left tackle for two years against strong eastern prep teams. The boy’s election marks one of the school’s highest athletic honors and follows winning the January school election as chair of the committee of self-government in Jackson House.
