A traction engine lost its claws but is repaired and in service again. One engine caused a runaway Saturday night when Beckley s horses spooked and a line broke, a telestd pole bringing them up short and preventing a serious accident.
Miss Elizabeth Green of this city married Rev. R. W. Lewis on December 24 in Douglas Georgia. The couple will reside in Waycross Georgia.
