The Greeley Gas and Electric Company will begin construction on a new plant east of the railroad tracks on Fourteenth Street. The facility, with capacity for a city of 25,000, will use a coal gas process to cut costs and boost popularity as illumination and fuel. Machinery orders are awaited. concrete work is to be bid in about two weeks, with completion in three to four months.
